Meetings
Executive Board: 1st Wednesday of every month starting at 6:00pm. E-Board meetings are closed to E-Board members only with the exception of special guests.
General Membership: 3rd Sunday of every month starting at 10:00am.
Note: General Membership meetings are for all Post 91 Legionnaires PLUS one representative from each of the other Post 91 entities (Auxiliary, Sons of American Legion,and American Legion Riders). Legionnaires who are not on the Executive Board are encouraged to attend the General Meetings to be a voice in voting on Post matters brought before the Post Members. This is your Post so please become involved!

Membership

Eligibility:
To be eligible, you must have served at least one day of active military duty during the dates listed below (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, or Coast Guard) and was honorably discharged or are still serving honorably.
Eligible eras are:
April 6, 1917 to Nov. 11, 1918   (World War I)
Dec. 7, 1941 to Dec. 31, 1946   (World War II – Merchant Marines are eligible during these dates)
June 25, 1950 to Jan. 31, 1955   (Korean War)
Feb. 28, 1961 to May 7, 1975   (Vietnam War)
Aug. 24, 1982 to July 31, 1984   (Lebanon / Grenada)
Dec. 20, 1989 to Jan. 31, 1990   (Panama)
Aug. 2, 1990 to today   (Gulf War / War On Terrorism)
How to Join:
1. Complete membership application.
2. Submit copy of DD Form 214, Discharge Papers or Separation Documents. If you need assistance in obtaining your DD 214, Request Military Records
3. Either stop by Post 91 and drop off your membership materials, e-mail it tomembership@azlegion91.org or mail to:
